Commissons
Creating commissions typically takes three to four weeks, as I work with oil paints, which require longer drying times. Shipping or transferring a painting that hasn’t fully cured can risk damaging the artwork. I prefer to let each new piece cure for at least a month to ensure it is dry to the touch and ready for safe transport. Please keep this in mind, and if you have a specific deadline, let me know in advance. I’ll do my best to accommodate your timeline.

step by step of my commission process
Step 1
During our initial contact, I will ask you to send me a few photos of your pet or your favorite view. Together, we will choose the one that will translate best into a painting and capture the most important details. After we agree on the final reference photo and the size of the painting, I will ask for a deposit.
The deposit benefits both the customer and the artist: it confirms the customer’s commitment and allows me to commit fully to the painting. Once the deposit is received, I begin working on your piece.

Step 2
The painting process may take up to two weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the scene. By the end of this process, I will be able to provide you with the final price. If you wish, I can send you a photo of the finished painting for your approval, or you may choose to wait until delivery and experience the unique moment of seeing it in person for the first time.

Step 3
After the curing period, once the painting is dry to the touch, I apply a retouch varnish to protect the surface and enhance the colors. This final step brings the painting together and prepares it for its journey to you.
Once the remaining balance has been received, your artwork is ready to be delivered and enjoyed in your space.
